SKUs represent a product or service that your company sells and the price of that product or service. When putting together a deal, a SKU is added to the agreement to create the line item.
In this guide, we'll show you how to create the following types of SKUs in RevOps based on the way your product or service is priced.
When your product or service is priced at per unit per month, you'll want to create a SKU that's configured for monthly unit pricing.
When your product or service priced at per unit per year, you'll want to create a SKU that's configured for annual unit pricing.
When your product or service is a non-recurring, one-time fee, you'll want to create a SKU that's configured for one-time pricing.
If your product or service will be sold by applying different prices or quantities throughout partial periods of the contract, you can create a SKU configured for schedule pricing.
When your product or service is priced depending on the volume of the quantity purchased, you'll want to create a SKU that's has tiered volume pricing configured. This can be done by creating a pre-paid usage SKU.
When your product or service is sold by offering a rate and the amount of consumption for the product is not yet know, you'll want to create a SKU with metered usage pricing configured.
If you will be applying a coupon or discount to the entirety of the deal, you'll want to use a discount SKU.
